Did you know that 2022 marks the 98th Anniversary of the Decatur Park District? Did you also know that as a Park District we manage over 4,000 acres of green space? Much of this acreage is in our community and neighborhood parks. Within these parks and facilities we offer programming to thousands of youth, but here at the Park District we strive to make sure all kids have access to all activities and programming, no matter the cost. In an effort to replace trees that have been lost due to weather and disease, as well as provide better accessibility of our programs to every child in Decatur, we set a goal to have donors donate $98 for our 98th Anniversary reforestation and scholarship drive!
