We can’t stress often enough, the importance of observing guidelines from the CDC, Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) and Macon County Health Department (Decatur, IL) during this health crisis.
Given the current situation and the guidance from public health officials on physical/social distancing, limiting in-person social interactions, avoiding spaces where people congregate in close quarters, and the concerns around transmission of the Coronavirus being spread through surfaces, all playgrounds, dog parks, golf courses, driving ranges, tennis, pickleball and basketball courts are temporarily closed in an effort to reduce community spread.
Currently, all parks, trails, and green spaces that provide adequate room for physical/social distancing are open for the public to use in responsible ways that protect public health.
