Scovill Zoo Summer Camps & Classes

Youth in grades 1 – 8 can discover the wild side of education with the Summer Zoo Academy at Scovill Zoo! Kids in Critter Encounters (Grades 1 – 2) will have a fun Saturday afternoon getting a closer look at zoo animals while participants in the week-long Zoo Kids (Grade 3) and Zoo Camp (Grade 4) sessions will learn more about animal habitats and what makes animals unique. The 2-week long Zoo Crew sessions will allow kids in grades 5 – 8 to take the reins and create their own zoo. Registration may be completed online at www.decatur-parks.org, at the zoo office (71 S. Country Club Rd.), or by calling 421-7435 with your credit card information. Scholarship assistance is available to those in need.
