Scovill Zoo has closed for the winter. Visit us on Friday, April 2, 2010 when we open for the new season and come see our spring babies, blossoms, and new arrivals!

Driving Directions
From Bloomington, use Business 51 south directions below.
From Champaign/Urbana, take I-72 west to exit 141 and follow the Business 51 south directions below.
From Springfield, take I-72 east to U.S. 36 east and follow the U.S. 36 east directions below.
From Taylorville, take route 48 north to the second traffic signal in Decatur. Turn right onto Route 105 east. Get in the left lane. Go under the railroad overpass, and turn left to Business 51 North. Follow the Business 51 north directions below.
From Mattoon/Charleston, follow the Route 121 north/west directions below.
From Tuscola, follow U.S. 36 west directions below.
BUSINESS 51 SOUTH: Take Business 51 South into the center of Decatur. Turn left onto U.S. 36 East, and continue out the east side of Decatur. Cross Lake Decatur. At the first traffic signal after crossing the lake, turn right onto South Country Club Road. South Country Club Road winds to the right. Follow it for about 1/2 mile and turn right into the Scovill Zoo parking lot.
BUSINESS 51 NORTH: Take Business 51 North into the center of Decatur. Turn right onto U.S. 36 East and continue out the east side of Decatur. Cross Lake Decatur. At the first traffic signal after crossing the lake, turn right onto South Country Club Road. South Country Club Road winds to the right. Follow it for about 1/2 mile and turn right into the Scovill Zoo parking lot.
U.S. 36 EAST: Take U.S. 36 East through Decatur. Cross Lake Decatur. At the first traffic signal after crossing the lake, turn right onto South Country Club Road. South Country Club Road winds to the right. Follow it for about 1/2 mile and turn right into the Scovill Zoo parking lot.
U.S. 36 WEST: From the east edge of Decatur, turn left at the fourth traffic signal onto South Country Club Road. (The Lakeview Motel is at this intersection. If you cross Lake Decatur, you’ve gone too far). South Country Club Road winds to the right. Follow it for about 1/2 mile and turn right into the Scovill Zoo parking lot.
ROUTE 121 NORTH/WEST: Take route 121 north/west to the edge of Decatur where it joins U.S. 36 West. Turn left onto the combined route 121 west and U.S. 36 west. Continue to the third traffic signal and turn left onto South Country Club Road. (The Lakeview Motel is at this intersection. If you cross Lake Decatur, you’ve gone too far). South Country Club Road winds to the right. Follow it for about 1/2 mile and turn right into the Scovill Zoo parking lot.
