Zoo Parties

On Safari Party

Throw a wild party at the zoo! This unique party option will have kids clawing to be part of this wild crowd. Scovill Zoo offers several party options for your celebration.

Party Rental includes:

  • Use of the rental area for 90 minutes; options include Outdoor Wolf Deck, $60.00 or Indoors at the Shilling Environmental Education Center, $80.00.
  • Zoo admission and train passes for up to 18 people (Additional admissions and train passes are available for $4.00 per person)
  • Gift Bag for the Birthday Child – includes Zoo Key, carousel token, goat feed, a Scovill Zoo postcard, pencil and a special surprise.

Additional Party Options:

  • 20-Minute Animal Presentation (for children turning 5 and older), $20.00
  • Lunch Deal (Includes hot dog, drink, nachos and cheese, $3.50 per person
  • Sno-cones, .85¢
  • Gift Shop Grab Bags, $1.00 and $3.00

Zoo Birthday Parties are available for children turning 16 years old or younger. You may bring your own cake, ice cream, and drinks-clear drinks only in the Education Center please. Cooking or heating devices of any kind are prohibited on zoo grounds. Payments for Birthday Parties must be paid in full, in advance. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours prior to rental to receive a refund, and is subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.

SPORTS PARTY

Batter up! Children love the build-your-own sports party at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center. Party goers can climb the rock wall, take a swing at the batting cage, and shoot hoops on the basketball courts. Click here for more information on the Sports Party.

POOL PARTY

Take a swim! Beat the heat with this cool pool party option. We supply the facility and the fun; you supply the cake and the children. Birthday parties may be held at the Fairview Family Aquatic Center or the Nelson Park Aquatic Facility. Click here for more information on the Pool Party.
