- Spend your Sundays at Red Tail Run Golf Club! Starting May 24, families can play 9 holes of golf with one cart after 2:30 p.m. for just $30 a foursome, $25 a threesome, or $20 a twosome. At least one adult must accompany juniors. A junior must be 17 years of age or younger in the calendar year and present to receive the family rate. For more information, call 422-2211.

- 2010 Scovill Zoo Open
- Join the Decatur Parks Foundation for the area’s best golf outing of the year – the Scovill Zoo Open – on Thursday, August 12 at Hickory Point Golf Course! You’ll enjoy new activities like a “break-the-glass” contest, long drive challenge with 2008 senior world champion David Brinker – or launch a golf ball 300 yards with the “Golf-zooka”! The evening reception will feature music from the Decatur Park Singers band! Fee is just $600 for a team of 4 and all proceeds benefit Scovill Zoo.
