Rotary Park Complex
Decatur Park District’s premier sports complex, Rotary Park, is located on the east side of Route 51, just north of Grove Road and Red Tail Run Golf Club by Raymond Floyd. The park is the result of a valuable partnership between the District and local Rotary Clubs. Rotary Park is ideal for large tournaments. Directions to Rotary Park
From North:
From U.S. Rte. 51 South, continue south through Decatur and over the bridge (Lake Decatur). Proceed south out of town. You'll go under an overpass and pass Imboden Road on your left. Turn lane into Rotary Park is ahead about 1/2 mile on your left (east).
From South:
From U.S. Rte. 51: as you approach the south edge of Decatur, you'll pass Grove Rd. and a large sign for Red Tail Run Golf Club on your right (east).Rotary Park is just ahead on your right. Entrance is directly off of Rte. 51.
From East or West:
From I-72, take U.S. Rte. 51 South, Follow U.S. Rte. 51 S to the south edge of Decatur. Follow directions (From North) as above.
ASA award for excellence
In 2007, the Decatur Park District earned the ASA James Farrell Award for Excellence, given to the highest-rated facility hosting an ASA National Championship. Rotary Park was site of the ASA Men's Class A Fastpitch National Tournament in August 2006.
