All pool passes are sold at the Decatur Indoor Sports Center from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Friday beginning Monday, May 11. Passes are valid from May 23 through the 2009 swim season. Passes are non-transferable and will be revoked if any misuse becomes evident.

Toddler Time

Junior Lifeguard Program
Want to be a lifeguard? Ellis instructors put you through the paces as you learn techniques necessary to be a real lifeguard at age 16! You'll receive instruction in water safety, lifeguarding and leadership skills, facility operations, teamwork, First Aid, and CPR. Following successful completion of the course, students will receive a certificate and tee-shirt. Registration must be in person. Call Jame Davis at 429-3472 for more information.

FAIRVIEW FAMILY AQUATIC CENTER
FROM NORTH: Take U.S. Rte. 51 South to Eldorado St. and turn west (right). Continue west on Eldorado St. until you reach the stoplight adjacent to Millikin University athletic fields (on left). Jog left (left turn lane). Fairview Park will be straight ahead through stoplight at Fairview Ave. Follow signs through the park to pool.
FROM SOUTH: Take U.S. Rte. 51 North to West Main St. and turn west (left). Take West Main to Fairview Ave., turning north (right). Take a left (west) at the next stop light into the park and follow signs to pool.
FROM EAST OR WEST: From I-72, exit at U.S. Rte. 36 East, Exit #133. At the 3rd stoplight, turn south (right) onto Eldorado St. At stoplight (Fairview Ave.) continue straight west into Fairview Park. Follow signs through the park to pool.
Swim sCHOOL
The Decatur Park District offers swim lessons for ages 6 months through adult. Whether you have yet to swim your first stroke or want to learn a few new ones, you'll find a class to meet your needs! All swim lessons are held at the Fairview Family Aquatic Center. Register in person at the DISC, 1295 W. Wood. Each lesson is 35 minutes long and meets at the Fairview Family Aquatic Center, Monday - Thursday, for two weeks. Cost is $20.00 per resident and $22.00 for non-residents. Most classes are available four times per day:
9:00 - 9:35 a.m.
9:45 - 10:20 a.m.
10:30 - 11:05 a.m.
6:30 - 7:05 p.m.
