Central IL Junior Golf Tour (CIJGT) Opening Clinic

Junior High and High School students can take part in this clinic designed to sharpen competitive skills and enhance tournament preparation. Park District pros will help participants learn a proven, winning practice routine, the essentials of course management, how to avoid double and triple bogeys, and how to improve their mental and physical recovery and short game skills. The clinic will be at the Red Tail Run Learning Center from 1 – 3 p.m. No charge for CIJGT members, $25.00 for non-members. For more information call 422-2211.

Just for parents, grandparents and their children and grandchildren, Family Night provides a low-key instructional environment for all skill levels. Golf pros are available on the driving range and putting green; plus you'll have all the range balls you can hit! First Tee Junior golfers are encouraged to attend. Wednesdays, May 26 – August 11 from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Red Tail Run Learning Center, 520 W. Grove Rd. Cost is $9.00 per adult/child combination.
